Cwmbrân Town produced one of their best halves of attacking football of season but contrived to pass-up a glut of goalscoring opportunities including two one-on-ones. The visitors were effectively handed all three points when a penalty kick was conceded and converted less than 30 seconds into the second half. To be fair to the Crows, they never gave up and continued to produce enough goal scoring chances to win the game twice over. Nevertheless, Tredegar held on for a win which sees them leapfrog the Crows into 12th spot in division two. With other results going their way the Crows only drop one place to 13th, and face two crucial games in the next ten days in the form of the division's bottom two sides...full report |
