The 'Mens Football Development Centre' and 'Female Football Academy' are professionally run centres of excellence for under 19's football within the Gwent area. All players within the development centre and academy receive a well-balanced training programme covering the technical, tactical, physical and psychological elements of the game. They are coached by UEFA B qualified coaches and compete in the British Colleges Sports Association on a Wednesday afternoon. All students are required to partake in a full-time course at the Usk Campus.
