Molongo brace hands the Crows victory late-on! A converted penalty kick in the 89th minute sealed a 2-1 victory for the Crows over WPL side Cefn Druids. The performance by the Crows was good enough for Druids manager Lee Jones to say: "I think that Cwmbran were a better side today than they were last season and they gave us a good test.". Cwmbrân Town AFC launch official Membership Scheme! The club has taken steps to launch a club membership scheme that will offer a number of benefits to it's members. For a small annual fee, members will not only receive discounts from a number of retail outlets, but will also have access to an exclusive members-only discussion forum. Money raised from this venture will go directly back into the club to aid it's smooth running, and to increase the number of benefits as the scheme gains momentum. Crows given lesson by Stamford! Depsite a fair share of possesion and hitting the woodwork, the Crows were unable to prevent their strong Unibond Premier oppontents Stamford from recording a comfortable 4-0 victory. However, it can often be said that you learn more in defeat than you do in victory... Next up for the Crows is a trip to Cefn Mawr to face Welsh Premier League NEWI Cefn Druids on 21/07/07.

Crows start with a win! Cwmbrân beat Grange Quins 4-2 in their opening pres-season friendly. Despite the closeness of the scoreline, the Crows were easily the better side and controlled the game comfortably for extended periods. Next up are Stamford on the 17/07/07. |
